Mark Doox’s new graphic serialization, adapted from his own screenplay:

Whitewood, Mississippi, 1955.

A stranger walks into town, nearly naked, and he is black. Not brown. Not dark brown. But black—impossibly black.

Soon the headaches begin—piercing, unexpected, growing.

A sick child suddenly recovers. The dead begin to appear. Old secrets buried beneath Whitewood begin moving their way toward the surface.

And those who encounter the stranger are left with an uncanny sense that he is both utterly strange and somehow belongs.

Who is he?

What is he?

Do we really want to know?
